A Victorian oak chimney piece with a simple centre panel and slim dog leg profile jambs, which would have been lined with marble strips. A substantial mantel with dentil moulding below, scroll detail at the ends of the frieze and a narrow shelf below which is a later addition. In good solid ex-site condition and with two cast iron ties at the rear for support and to fix to the wall.
