A simple oak bolection chimney piece. Understated with clean simple lines and attractive grain.
In good solid ex-site condition, this item would originally have integrated into a panelled room and hence has grooving at the rear of the mantel shelf and on the sides of the jambs to fit as such, the mantel shelf is also shaped at the ends. One of the square corbels is missing, there is some damage to the mantel ends and there is water marking at the bottom of one foot (please see photos).
